I usually don’t do this, but I just have to, I really do. I am so touched! For most of us there are only a few things and people in life that “hit” us, transform us, touch our souls in momentous ways, inspire us with unimaginable rhythms. It never seizes to amaze me how profoundly simple that is and simply intricate at the same time. The answer, just like music, is all around us if we could only listen.
It’s just like God to be so brilliant! He gives us gifts so we could use them. We think that gifts exist so we can serve God and help others, right?! And yes that makes perfect sense. But I am about to come to the conclusion, I think, that those gifts are not only to glorify him and help others but also to truly FIND Him. I have never looked at it this way. It’s almost revolutionary I think at least for my little brain. Our gifts bring us back to those who gave them to us. They are ultimately His way of bringing us back to Him. Back to where we started only so we can begin again.
My dearest reader, this is probably not making any sense to you whatsoever. But if it has peeked your curiosity even ever so slightly please watch the movie. There is something for everybody to take from this movie. I can almost PROMISE it will inspire you with unimaginable rhythms. I will never forget the "kid" character in this movie. I don't think I will ever look at life the same after this movie. It "hit" me on so many levels, but one of them is my mom. She gave me the gift of prayer. She can feel me. To this day, it doesn't take more than 5 min when something is going down and the phone rings. Like Shakespeare wrote in one of his sonnets “anything lost can be found, if sought”. I will stop before I confuse you any further. So yes, watch the movie:)
